It's clear - we are our last best hope. And that's a good thing, because there's nobody better equipped to do this than us.
Why?
There are millions of us
In the UK alone, there are over 6million people aged between 18 and 24. Add the 24 to 35 bracket into the equation and we number more than 13million.
Right now, our demographic is dismissed and deemed apathetic because we don’t engage. But united as one voice, we’re undeniable – practically, socially, but most of all, politically.
We’re different
The media has labelled us the digital generation. Whatever you call yourself, you’ve been born into technology and the web. Because of this, you’re part of the most powerful demographic on the planet.
We’re the demographic that communicates – and mobilises – worldwide in a couple of clicks. The demographic that questions, interrogates and finds its own answers. The demographic best placed to make a real difference.
We’ve already changed the world
The digital world has changed everything and we lead this change. We live and innovate online. We create film, images, music and communities online. In that sense, we’ve already changed the world. So let’s use our shared voice to speak up for those who can’t.
We can do this. Our way.
We don’t need to become politicians. We just need to tell them what we want.
For too long our leaders have relied on our silence to do too little, too slowly. That’s about to end. This is our revolution. It’s online, on our turf and on our terms. And it’s about to change everything.
So join us. Become a weapon of mass collaboration. Be That Change.
